I'm pretty sure I know what the problem is but just want to get some ideas from people with more experience than myself. I can smell unburnt gas from the exhuast really badly and my gas mileage is crap. Is it possible that my engine is running to cool for everyday driving (barely reaching L) I have a be cool radiator and black magic fan. I'm not sure what thermo is in it but plan on putting in a new 180 anyways. Should I try disconnecting the fan and see if the engine get to op temp or what. Any ideas are greatly appreciated and thanks. I'm trying to help the gas mileage as much as possible for daily driving.
The car is an 88gt with mass air conversion
My mods if it helps: 306, gt40p heads, 1.6 rr's, e303cam, cobra upper and lower, 24#(around 35psi vacuum off), underdrive pulleys, msd6al, blaster coil, dynamod for distributor, I know there's a couple other things i'm leaving out, not sure if they matter with this problem :flag:

pulled codes? checked the O2 values?

might need more info for something as widespread as you list. you can check the ECT and ACT values (JR has posted them in here). what kind of milage do you get?

good luck.

i just went through something like this on my 95, check your spark plugs for a black sooty color. remember where they go. if you find one or 2 that ar black, switch the the corresponding injector to a cylinder that had a good spark plug. run the car for a while and then check the plugs again and if the black plug changed to the injector that you just moved, then you have an injector that is stuck open, you should go ahead and replace it rather than trying to use efi cleaner, that stuff does nothing.
