In here somewhere a while back, someone was talkin about using some type of rust eater on there door. Something that eats alll the rust right down to bare metal.

I need really good stuff that will remove it all, even if it leaves a hole. Any suggestions on good stuff??? ..and where to get...

im a sn9495 guy, sorry if this is in the wrong section, please help.
Thanks guys

what about the **** you can buy at any hardware/parts store. Is that any good? I was thinking about getting it for the bottom of my doors and trunk.

I dont know about eating rust...that would be something i would like to learn about. But there is epoxy primer, you can just sand off all the surface rust with some sand paper or a wire wheel and paint it over the surface and it seals the rust from oxidation so it goes into like hybernation. Then there is POR-15 from Eastwood and its really good stuff. We used it on our 67 Camaro and that stuff is TOUGH, you can just about hit it with a hammer and it wont peel or chip, you just paint it with a paintbrush to. You can pick up a POR-15 starter kit for like $30

If youre going to Eastwood, get Rust Encapsulator not POR 15. They did a side by side comparison from an outside source and POR 15 failed miserably. They also have stuff that will take it down to bare metal but I still think you have to wire brush it a little bit.
