Paint and Body Rust what to do now

Hello got a 95 gt seems like it started from leaking brake booster and im guessing a distribution block. It has rust i really love this car and I thought I finally found a rust free one I live down south in louisana and somehow got screwed twice in a row. Does this seem like a lost cause there definitely ate through rust on the inner frame rail and in the engine bay and 2 small holes

Somewhat common even in non rust belt states. Find a good body guy and have them cut/patch in material to replace bad metal and get integrity back. By no means is that a lost cause or throw away car. Completely fixable.

I moved from MS to PA. I miss rust free cars like you wouldn't believe. What you got going on there is definitely not the end all for that car. Get that work done and add another fix to your list. Classic cars take work man.

Even if the rust on the inside frame rail is bad too

None of that looks really bad to me.

Wire wheel it, hit with some converter/primer, and paint over the top of it.


Use something like this:

For inside the frame rails etc., where you suspect rust.

From just what I see... A little preventive maintenance now and It will wait until you're ready to do the paint and body on the car.
