I don't have the funds to go all out on buying an intake kit with a tuner this year. However, for this summer, Thus far, I've ordered an SLP "Loudmouth" axleback and will have racing stripes done this weekend.

I'd like to remove the vapor trap once I get an air filter, but not sure which to get. I'd like to hear from those that bought the steeda or K&N air filters. Did you feel any difference and or performance gain on your stang?

You will never feel a difference when adding an air filter....there is no way to feel a 1% gain in hp. You really won't feel much of a difference with any bolt on (exhaust etc.) IMO

I went with K&N - mostly because of their history, and I've been happy with the one on my Cobra. I can't say I felt a huge difference, but there seems to be more of an intake sound now... (took out the HCT as well).
