VibrantRedGT said:DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT think about romping on the throttle after its installed. I blew my heads off the block just a few days after the blower was installed. Get it on a dyno first. Get it tuned then let it rip. It probably won't run if your using 42# injectors on the stock computer anyway.
You're using an FMU with 42's?Pops Fun said:Hi, installed the Fmu, moved the radiator bracket -- Sunday

. Ran into a few fitment problems with the MAF and vortech intake. The lightning MAF is a larger diameter than the stock, so need an adapter, for the air intake, also had to solder the pig tail into the harness. Also needed SCT chip for the MAF, got a basic tune put on it to get from Jay's to dyno, that was programed yesterday, by Mike at Paul,s.
excited now.that depends on your ignition and fuel setup. truthfully, if you are going to baby it to the shop, the timing doesnt really matter since you wont see any boost. more information on your setup is needed to give you an accurate answer though.red ink said:What does the timing need to be set at just to start it up and get it to a shop to get tunned?? I'm getting ready to do this same install...
