can anyone tell me if the wheels from a 2005+ mustang will work on a fox body, with no other mods, other than the LRS 5 lug conversion kit? i am talking about the 18x8.5 stock bullitt wheel, not the 17x8.

You would need to run a fairly large spacer. The offset is much deeper than the earlier cars.

i was JUST looking into getting a set of the 17x8s either to use if they worked or just to resell, buut they only had 3

anyway when i did my research (i have the LRS kit)...You will need like a 1" or 1.25" spacer. The offset on the 05+ rims is something like 6.5 or 6.7" and we need like 5.5" i think.

I was having a question and that is....is the front of an SVO the same as the LRS conversion????? See they seem to fit an SVO based on some of the threads and that would mean only spacers on the back (the SVO is a lot wider with the brakes). But i figured it was different because the 17x8's I have now definately do not stick out or anything

hummmmm...wonder if the rears would work on a fox with a rear axle out of a 94 up to get the rear disks....i hear the 94 up rear is like an inch wider? any guesses?

yeah i'd say it would....theres a chance you still MAY need like an 1/8" spacer or something

You want to use 96+spindles up front and the sn95 rear and i think thats the correct combo

I have actually considered using them on the rear of my Stang as I have SN95 Axles and Brakes.

the rear is the same but the axles themselves are 3/4 of an inch longer per side

Correct 94-98 Axles are 3/4" Wider, the 99-04s have a different assembly and axles and are 3" Wider total.
