Some of you may be aware of this however I feel it's neccesary to post.
Today I took the stang out of hibernation for a nice 1 hour cruise. As I was getting on the highway I shifted to 3rd and floored it (to check my boost level, and for fun) The problem showed itself when I let off the pedal and it stayed pinned to the floor! In a panic I started tapping it hard with my boot and fortunatly it released. I then proceeded home granny shifting the whole way. I pulled into the garage, shut it off and then slammed the pedal down and sure as anything it stuck down and stuck down good! I popped the hood and looked at the linkage, turns out the t/b linkage was getting hung up on the 8mm screw from the hose clamp for the inlet tube. I was amazed that: 1. it released itself while i was driving, 2. It has not happend to me yet, and 3. it was so easy to diagnose.
Simple fix, loosen the screw and rotate it away from the t/b linkage. Anyways, I thought I would share this. Hopefully it helps somone.
