Saleen Exhaust

imo its not worth the time and money to convert them to fit the stock bumper. i understand it was free but it would probably be cheaper to buy a new setup that may sound better or just as good and not have to deal with cutting and welding, which will cost you unless you have a welder at home.

I think the exhaust looks sweet.... but then again I haven't seen it on anything but a saleen....so idk. I think it would be cool to have a different exhaust setup with the saleen tips....

PS am I mistakin or does the pip connect right where to tips are???? How does that work???

The cool thing if you were able to retrofit the Saleen exhaust is you'd have the "Variable Design" technology. This is according to Saleen:

"The exhaust system is an innovative “variable design,” featuring twin mufflers with vacuum-actuated valves that open above a specified back pressure. When these valves open, a portion of the exhaust gases is routed through a second set of tail pipes pointed at the ground which allows the engine to be calibrated to produce higher torque and non restrictive flow."

When you punch it they are LOUD! And they sound great around town. Plus you would be unique.
