An older guy at my work has a gas saver he drives on occasion. It is a Ford Festiva that has Saleen emblem in the back and on each of the front fenders there is on that reads Racecraft Suspension.

I will quaruntee this car has never been modified or riced at all. It is in original condition and has a set of 14" BBS rims on it I think.

It is from the late 80's or early 90's.

Any info someone could give me on it would be appreciated.

Saleen only modified Mustangs and Explorers back in the 90's.

This is a joke right? The Festiva was built by Kia. I find it highly unlikely that Steve ever rode in one let alone released one.

I'm willing to bet someone back in the day tossed those stockers and wheels on it, and the owner now thinks it was original. Crazier things have happened!

I had one once and new nothing about it. Was a little blue two door with a four speed stick. I hated that car! It was a bare bones model, IDK even know what engine it had but being a four speed stick I am sure it was the cheapest one. The widshiel wiper controll broke so I just left the fuse cover off cause its right by your left knee and just slapped the fuse in when I needed wipers
Thing was I hated the car and wanted it to die. I had it for a year and put prolly 12K on it. Never changed the oil or added any when it leaked out yet the car wouldnt die. I lived up country in Maui which was a very steep drive up hill for several miles and the thing would do 65 with everyone else and would give me over 50mpg doing it
Tough little cars.

if I drove one of those I would have to wear a grocery bag over my head. I'd rather ride the freakin bus or trolley.
