I just recently purchased the head unit off of a 2001 sc281 (upper and lower) w/ out the fuel rails and injectors and am wondering what extras I'm gonna need for the install. I already know I need
-30lb injectors
-throttle body size 70 mm 75mm?
Now for the questions
1. Am I going to be able to reuse my stock fuel pump and fuel rails?

2. What series supercharger came on the 01 sc281's?

3 Can i re-use the stock thermo?

I know I need a lot of extra parts but i got a good deal on this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks-Kevin

Fuel pump = Yes
Fuel rails = You can try, I don't know what rails they actually use.
Thermostat = stock will work.
Blower is a MP90 roots style.

Other parts.
Heat exchanger
Fans
Water pump
Water pump bracket
Relay - turns on fans and waterpump
Coolant reservoir
Coolant reservoir support
Coolant hoses
Middle pulley
Middle pulley Alt bracket & Bolt
EGR Tube
EGR Tube spacer to prevent TB inlet from melting
Intake gaskets
Intake bolts
Cruise control cable
Throttle cable
Bracket that holds both onto inlet tube
Serpentine belt
Extend various electrical connections
AIT
ALT
IAC

Custom tune

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I hope you got a good deal on the blower and intake.

Is the mp90 the one that is black? I have been searching and have seen some 01's w/ the roots part being a greyish color.

How much you think I can get for it if I put it on ebay?

Yes it would be black. When I bought mine it was.

The series 1 and some of the series 2's were gray. The manufacturer just changed the colors part way through production on the 2.

A whole kit (used) sells anywhere from $2000-$2500

TJM01-
Am I going to have to get all the part numbers for what I need or can I just call saleen and tell them what I need and go from there? What I basically have is the supercharger, One long hose and another metal hose. Lol if that helps. Thanks

Good luck getting any info from SALEEN.

TJM01 will probably be your best source of info concerning that unit.
He has some experience with that blower.

Sounds like you got one of the cooling hoses and the metal hose is probably the EGR tube. Saleen is pretty tough on getting parts from if you didn't actually buy the kit and something broke.

I wouldn't tell them that you actually bought a used kit. I know they will sell the waterpump fans heat exchanger and electrical stuff.

Okay from what I see.

1 - cooling hose, these aren't a big deal because you can make your own.
1 - EGR tube
1 - EGR Heat sink (for lack of a better term) that piece attaches to the plastic intake and the small piece which I can't make out appears to be the metal insert that goes within that. The purpose of those are to prevent the plastic TB inlet from melting do to the exhaust temps.

It appears that you are missing one of the vacuum connectors on the back of the inlet tube. Also, you do have the hose that connects to the bypass, that should be T'd so that you have another vacuum line coming off of it.

I would guess that on the high side you are looking at $1000 - this would include some fabricated parts if Saleen wouldn't sell them to you. Your biggest expense is going to be the heat exchanger and water pump.
