I have a 2amp setup in my car, one being a 4channel amp that's 600 watts of power connected to 4 speakers in my car, and the other being a 800watt mono amp connected to one 10" subwoofer with a 1 farad capacitor.

I want to get these Saleen red underdrive pulleys below:

Does anyone know whether or not putting these pullies in will still generate enough power from my alternator to run my amplifier setup? Will taking the 800watt mono amp away and the 10" subwoofer (leaving the 1 4channel amp that's 600 watts of power) run on underdrive pulleys?

I'm just afraid of not generating enough power. Will getting a 200amp PA Performance alternator help even with underdrive pulleys?

in my experience it is best to just do the water pump and crank. leave the alt. with its stock pulley or else it will idle and then you will just see your volts drop. then you will have to give it some throttle to get your juice back.

You will have issues with running the system loud while at idle but anywhere off idle you'll be ok. Also,DO change the alt pulley cause it will actually run slower with the stock pulley than the Saleen one.

When you say "do change the alt pulley," do you mean just buying the Saleen one and put it on? I'm not too knowledgeable on engine parts.

Would it also help if I had got a new alternator (one with a little more power) than the one I have now?

I'm just afraid that these pulleys will mess up my electrical system since i have 2 amps, a sub and a capacitor.

Red2000 is just conflicting with my opinion. but an alternator is designed to spin at a certain speed too maintain a certain charge. if you idol at 650 with all stock stuff and then put on pulleys the alternator will be spinning like it would at 3-400. get me
but by not swapping the alt. pulley it will act like 500 or so and it will keep the system charged.
I would know this because i had the same troubles with my 2000 GT.
But go ahead and try it both ways.
