Satin black with clear coat?

Kinda makes me ask " so what color you gonna paint it?"

The thing with satin black is it shows every body imperfection even more than primer. You really need to have a straight car first. It shows every flaw and when you get that first dent, you'll want to redo the entire panel.

It a good garage queen weekend car paint scheme....but not ideal fpr a daily driver

Well if i were going to paint it, i would have to go dark. Or compensate for the black primer. So most likely some shade of black or a medium bergundy. Id just have to keep in mind when its finished itll be a few shades darker. Its hard to tell body flaws on a sarin car, so ill have to pay close attention tk it before painting.

I see the project"built to cruise" has gone with a satin paint job not black looks like a gray metallic. thats going to look good too.

I'd like to see more pics, but I'm liking the idea of satin metalic colors. Orange, blue, green, ... Might look good if done right.
