Save money...Weld cats on?

Did anyone just buy an o/r pipe and buy cats and weld them on? It's an easy way to same some $$ if you can weld. I was thinking of doing it...any objections?

There's nothing wrong with doing that. I have an extra H-pipe that started life as an off-road and then had cats welded in. Just check all your clearances before you weld anything so you don't have any fitment issues.
