Whoa, that's pretty freaky.


I wonder how that happens.. I guess heat has something to do with it, but I'm confused either way.

i wonder if they somehow made it out of the factory without being heat treated.

Perhaps a bad batch of calipers. These aren't original equipment for his car. He bought them through Ford and put them on and then this happened.

Makes me wonder if Ford changed manufacturers who didn't manufacture them correctly??


I've never seen that on ANY caliper ever. I know aluminum calipers sometimes flex, but never bend and hold position like that

I wonder what that felt like through the pedal. Did you feel any difference in breaking??? Got pics of the rotors?
