Did the PCV valve that you put it into have suction? If not, then you probably did the same thing that I did on the first try. Try feeding it into the intake instead, on one of the hoses that has a LOT of suction.

Yes it was the pcv and has ALOT of suction. It would rev uncontrollably if i didnt keep pouring it in though, kinda like making it choke to stay in the 1500-2000rpm range.

I seafoamed the car today...(1997 GT Vert w/109k) and it didn't ever smoke I don't know, maybe it was already done recently before I bought it or it is really clean already?

I put it in here..

Let it sit for 15 minutes and started it up and no smoke...

It's probably been cleaned recently. You might try the hose that has the 2 red hoses coming off of it, slightly to the left of where you did it before.

Well, I did the seafoam, and, well...nice smoke. The car ran slightly smoother, but nothing that Techron couldn't make. I suppose mine didn't have that much carbon. Ill drop another can in the next oil change though..

car has seafoam monkey on its back

Since this thread started, my car has had a can-a-month seafoam habit.

Am I doing any damage here? Is too much of a good thing a bad thing?

I tried seafoam today, and it didn't smoke a whole lot, and the smoke wasn't very thick either. I guess my car didn't have much carbon at all, it only has 82,000 kms on it though.
