we use a cleaner similar to seafoam at work and one of my favorite things to do in the summer is

do the serivce on a old clunker on a saturday while the salesjerks are trying to rape people. then run it around the lot filling the whole dealership lot with thick white smoke.

How long did you let your car sit with the engine OFF after putting 1/2 the can of seafoam into the upper intake?

Next time let it sit for 30. Maybe it'll make a difference, maybe not. I let mine sit for 15, and it smoked like crazy.

You'll probably have to order it online from the US. I don't think it's been approved for sale in Canada (Ontario especially) because it doesn't meet a couple of the EPA standards for the Province/Country. I've done a little looking around myself and haven't been able to find it anyplace, but online from a US source.

well, after starting this thread this afternoon, going and taking a business law test, and coming back to read for another hour or so, i finished this hella long awesome thread. sooo now im adding to it! i have a 92 explorer, with 170K miles.... i KNOW this hasnt been done, and im hoping i can find the dang intake spot on it (im sure i will be able to, but i fyou have a pic of a 92 explorer 4.0 v6 engine, post it!). i have a feeling this could help, because my car has some issues with oil and what not, and pinging, and im hoping this will fix it. i guess we'll find out soon!

I agree. I haven't seen it for sale at Walmart, Canadian Tire, Parts Source etc. Try buying some off of the internet.

Actually the instructions on the can are extremely generalized and vague...
