Sealing The Dipstick Tube?

I'm almost done putting the engine together for my V8 Miata. I was doing some of the finishing touches and remembered about the dipstick tube. What holds it in? Mine has literally no tension holding it in the block. Is there an print or something I need to put on it? I feel like even an o-ring wouldnt be sufficient though.

It just presses in, there is no O-ring. It is held tight with a bolt on the exhaust manifold.

I'm gonna hit it with some RTV then. It seems impossible for that to not leak.

Won't hurt, but oil level is way below that area.
