Seat up grade

I have a 66 coupe, with a pony interior. Just wondering has anyone taken seats from a newer model mustang and put them in an older one.
I broke my back 3 years ago and I love driving my car, but I can barley move when I get out of it. I've seen after market seats, but they are around $1200.00. And I've seen lots of 5.0 cars at the wreckers.....

Any 64-98 Ford seats will swap if you use the tracks out of your car. 99+ seats will also swap but they sit a little different (may or may not be a good thing).

I'm 5'11" @ 165 and my 95 Z/28 leather seats are some of the best I've ever sat in. I am looking for a set for the 65. If you go to E'Bay and look for Recaro BMW seats they have a ton of them listed over the last 3-4 months.
