serious problem with 98 rear end

i put in a 98 cobra rear end with disk brakes on my 93 cobra a few months ago. this weekend i drained the fluid and when i went to look for the plug to refill the diff, it isn't there. i checked all over. it seems that its covered. i don't know what it is. the plug should be directly under/parrellel to the upper control arm. so i guess my options are to remove the rear end to refill, or? anyone have any insight, ideas on what else to do?

It is on the top of the differential on the drive shaft side. It is on the right hand side just above a flat piece of metal on the differential

Right side = passenger? Aren't they on the left (driver's) side of the diff?

Drivers side (left). It is above the front pinion area in the diff. I 3/8 inch extension head will work fine.
