 I am trying to convert to a SERPENTINE belt system on my 69 Mach 351W with AC and power steering I also would like to keep a mechanical fuel pump.I talked to March pulleys and they don't have a kit that will work.Has any one done this on their car.

you can use a factory system, the problem though becomes one of access to the fuel pump. i replaced the fuel pump on a 70 falcon with the stock V belts, and power steering, and i can tell you it was a major headache to replace as the access was poor. with a serpentine belt the access would be even worse. best to use an electric pump if you want to convert to a serpentine belt system.

and the problem isnt so much the belt system itself, the problem is the brackets you need to use. you have to anchor the accessories in place, and the brackets are rather substantial to prevent flexing, and subsequent breakage.

Here's my setup on a 351W...with a/c and power steering. But I do have an electric fuel pump. My pulleys and bracketry is all March.

for an electric pump, you can use an inexpensive carter pump. they are reliable and work great. you dont even need a pressure regulator with the carter pump like you do with other pumps.
