Do you have an aftermarket Mass air meter?

If that's the case, it's propably not calibrated for a cold air intake. The Mac cold air intake has a bend between the mass air meter and the filter. This could mess up the "reading" of the air coming in, because of that bend. This is coming right out of PRO-M's mouth.

Hope this help or that someone can clarifies what I'm trying to explain.

Well, I've reached the end of my rope with this damn car. After installing a MAC coldair intake this morning, I now have idle problems with "severe" bucking at mid RPM ranges. Since this has started, I've cleaned the MAF wires, IAC, readjusted the TPS voltage, examined the entire EFI harness, and reset the computer and not one damn thing has made any difference... Anybody know what's going on here?

Thanks.

Okay, I kinda sorta made it work for now until I get the air meter sent to Pro-M for calibration. I more or less removed the bend aspect of the cold-air intake and took a K&N kit.. some of you can see what I did here. For now it works like a charm. You guys were right again.. Good job!
