First off guys, Happy Holidays !! Im looking for a shaker syatem for my 95GT. The big problem is that the only kits that i've seen so far are for 96-98's b/c of the 4.6L. Anyone know of a place I could pick a kit up at ?? thanks in advance !!

the only reason i can think of why its not also good for a 94/95 is how/where the shaker scoop mounts, if you wanted you could probably fab something up yourself

Classic Design Concepts has one for the 5.0 now, but you need the stock intake.

yea i know it's expensive but im not too worried about the cost. A friend of mine gave me a saleen heat extractor hood im gonna sell so i should be able to pay for most of it with that. I went to the CDC website and maybe it's just me but i still don't see a shaker for a 95 GT. If anyone has a link Id appreciate it. I also have my stock intake - What sort of gains, if any, can i expect ?

for the money, you'd get 10 times the gains by going with intake, t/b, and maf.

now if it cost more like $100 ...

I suspect a person could fab up the brackets required to fit it atop a non-stock intake.. And while I seriously doubt there is any true performance gains by adding it, it does look awsome up there.. after driving a Mach1 finally last month, I seriously thought about doing it on my new cervinis Cobra R hood... but chickened out. To nice a hood to cut a hole in..lol

Im not really too concerned with gains to tell you the truth. The car is my daily driver and im not looking to run 11's down the street. Up until now all my mods have been show and no go (except for the exhaust). I thought the shaker would look sick as well as function a little better than a CAI from bbk or MAC. Has anyone found that link for the 94-95 kit ??

last question about this i swear lol. I was reading the installation instructions... the kit will not fit with the strut tower brace in place. Is it worth doing at all considering i'll have to do w/o this part ???

Yeah just have your local shop do up a new brace.. the problem probably is in where the air hose from the scoop to the factory airbox is interferes with the front of the brace... if you are doing it just for looks, dont use the intake tube...

Have you checked out the Cervini Stalker Hood setup? The air intakes are functional on the 94-95 hoods. Personally I like that hood better that the Shaker setup in terms of looks.
