Shaving the Drip Rails on a 66 Coupe...I need info/pics.

I am under a deadline and media blasting has revealed that the car I am working on is a mess in some places. The roof is rusted out badly in several places. To fix this I think shaving the drip rails would make things the easiest as I have less than a month to get this car done (what I am doing to it) and on a trailer to go to CA.

I have never shaved the drip rails before so I really don't know where to begin. I am very experienced with panel replacement and metal working but I do not have the luxury of time to experiment with this project so any advice or instruction would be greatly appreciated. Pictures would be nice if you have any. I am not quite sure how to handle the bulge at the base of the roofline right as it transitions into the driprail. It is going to be fun making patches for this rusted out roof too.

Thanks in advance.

this is the SN65, does this pic help?
