my hood latch must snaped off between last night and this morning on my way to class coming down a service road. doing like 45 hood starts flaping up, car jerked hard to the right, lucky me no one was behind me. like the title of the thread, first i said it and then i did it.

Good grief, I'm almost afraid to drive my Fox now, with this sudden rash of 'Stangs having their hoods pop open on the road, lately.

yeah it's gettin crazy! lots of wrecks it seems too! i'm kinda glad i only put about 10km a week on the stang right now!

yea make sure you triple check ryan, scared the **** out of me, lucky also for me it didnt happen near the patch of ice that was a little ways back. car would of been finished.

You got lucky man, this actually happend to me the other day.. im missing one hood pin and my hood wasnt latched.. i was going about 45 with a fart machine egging me on. good thing i didnt get on it because my hood started flexing where the 1 hood pin was missing.. pulled over right then and their

Dont mean to jack just shareing with you all.

I don't worry about it, my 90 has pins AND the latch. That's the only way to go, two lines of protection.
