Shelby A-arm Relocation and Lowering Questions

This photo was taken soon after we got the orange car. It's got 14X7 wheels with 245/60/14's out back and 225/60/14's up front. Little wheels, lot's of tire. It's still set at the same ride height.

A little tire rub never bothered me. If the tires don't rub, that tells me I can lower the car a bit more, and I do.

Do you have the vario-camber kit on the front of the '65?
Doesn't that also provide a little extra wheel clearance as shims are no longer needed?

In the track photo, the car didn't have the vario kit. It does now though. The car runs a lot of camber on the track, that helps a lot.

To those of you who have done the shelby relocation. what do you do with the existing holes, cause their kinda to big to weld?

No need to do anything with the old holes.
The shock tower will not be weakened by the new holes.
