Has anyone installed this kit from RPM outlet (FMS-M- 6659-GT5) yet on there 2005 Mustang GT?

Sadly, it looks like they're the only one out there selling a bolt on kit.

Thanks, Dewman

MMR makes a kit as well. Dunno about performance increases.

Dan

I checked them out and they have a "no tune needed and gains up to 15 hp'

Price $599.00 but I can get it for 499.99

I also emailed BackDiamond and they reponded with a net gain of 8 rwhp/ 8 torque and a tune would probably be needed.

$350.00 may be do able for the Ford GT500 TB kit but not 500.00 for MMP TB.

Thanks,Dewman

They also claim 10hp from a TB spacer... I wouldn't bother unless you're blown, actually you have a TB spacer, what do you think of it?

The stock TB is fine under 500RWHP. You won't see any improvements with bolt-ons. The stock one flows much more than previous models.

The TB spacer is there.

I've not had the time to take it off and add it back on when I've had the car dyno'd. As far as the sotp measuring there was never any felt performance increase at all.

Thanks, Dewman

Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords put out a video (with one of their magazines) called the Beast in which they did a build up on a 06 Mustang GT. They saw an increase of 8rwhp peak on the dyno and gains across the board with a BBK TB. The only other mods were a tune and CAI. I would guess the 65mm GT500 unit would give similar gains. Having said that I just put a BBK unit on and I didn't feel any difference though I don't have a tune.
