I do not doubt that the new pics of the yellow GT500 are real. But if it is a pre-production of the real Shelby GT500 why did they remove all the Shelby emblems? Is it still going to be a Shelby or just a SVT Cobra?

The Yellow GT500 is nothing more then a dressed up Mustang GT made for the show and thrown together at the last moment. Don't get all worked up over that car, as the finalized version will debut at the NAIAS in Detroit in January. All other cars will be preproduction or mules, and may or may not be close to what the actual car will look like.

Fact od the matter is it's a Shelby Cobra GT500. No one know how the SHELBY accross the back will be yet. I do think they are going to use the current GT trunk lid w/ light and may put the SHELBY to the right side.

One thing that I just noticed on the Yellow GT500 is the absense of the rear diffuser. It appears to still have a black front airdam and also side skirts. I hope they leave that on the car cause thats one of the coolest parts of the design in my opinion.

I don't like the new hood either but if it performs a function I could live with it I guess. I would rather have the vents further up front.

Don't worry guys, it's just a mule and doesn't represent the final say on the car. Proof of concept, that is all.
