Shifter Knob Swap?? .aode

I don't like the knob on the GT. or better said the fact that the O/D button is off to the side. The billet versions that are sold don't appeal to me either . So have been Googling found this Ford Flex shifter knob
And an install mod looks like should work . Any thought or others that have changed their knob?

I guess it's not that common a swap with our SN95 crowd. Most folks replace the whole shifter assembly with B&M or the like or keep what they have, and America Muscle carries an aluminum T-handle for automatics with the O/D button relocated for a very reasonable cost.

This part says '87-'04 so you might check with the Fox crowd in the parent forum too, perhaps someone there has done it and their info will apply to the SN95. Otherwise it looks like you might be on your own with this customization.

Thanks josefsz. Yeah I have seen that one at AM .. Don't have any billet in the interior. Don't won't to start either.
