shifter question

im thinking about buying a V6 stang, manual since in my opion thats the only way a sports car should come, anyway Ive seen the shifters, in all mustangs and whats with the design? im not complaing but wouldnt the sideways Z shape bend when trying to race and whatnot when slamming into gears. Im sure some guys here have done this but what would win in a race, a manual v6 stang or manual v6 camaro.

It'd be pretty even. Camaro's make a little bit more power, but weigh a little bit more. Just whoever can shift the best I think

Camaro = more power, looks like ass.

Mustang = less power, but at least you look cool

2) Driver's race assuming 190-193 hp Mustang vs. 200hp Camaro.
