shifter ?

Yesterday I was riding at about 40mphs and the street I was on
has about a 5 mile stretch. So I shift back to 3rd and back to
4th to about 95mph when i notice my shifter was making a loud
rattling noise. It stop once my speed was down to 60mphs but
that was the first time i have ever had that problem. Anyone
know or have ever had this problem before?

did you have a coin fall down there somewhere?? Had that happen to me I could hear it rattling every so often until I got in there and took it out.

i have not had a chance to even check it out, i thought maybe their was something
going on with the shifter, when i get off
i will check that out

make sure all the bolts are tight, was it a vibration or just a rattling sound?

Might be bad U-Joints

A BAD U JOINT,where is that located,
or you are talking about the u joint
to the drive shaft.

check the bushings or rubber gaskets between the shifter handle and the lower part of the shifter if thats loose it will rattle and sound like your cars abotu ready to fall apart

I will do that , thanks and it did sound
like i had a bad blower on the inside
of my car. If it only worked.
