When you race do you chirp 2nd gear or do you slip the clutch?
I'm curious which gives the best times. Usually when I do any racing I'll pop the clutch and stomp it and it'll chirp 2nd (not 3rd though). I'm not powershifting (keeping the pedal to the floor and not letting off) but it does chirp. Also, I tried power shifting and it didn't seem fast enough for me to justify. All it managed to do was fishtail the car instead of chirp.
Thanks.

Kinda sucks. I need to get some traction
It will also do it in 3rd to if I powershift. Tires chirp a bit, no serious loss, but enough for me to know its doing it. Its just for a second, but its enough for someone to gain ground or loose time on the track. I just need to experiment some more to find out what will yeild the least spin, but allow me to keep the gas slammed.
