Is anyone familiar with "Fast Specialties" in Vancouver? I'll be looking to get a lightning tuned, and was wanting to go with SCT stuff (they're the only local SCT dealer with a dyno that is listed). I've tried e-mailing them, but get nothing in return. Just looking for somebody that knows of them or experience with them. Thanks

In "Fast Specialties" defense, they have e-mailed me back. Sounds good so far. Thanks everyone for all the responses.

Grab a match and a bucket of gas! No seriously tho i cant say so for myself, but the majority of the people on here deal with krazy koncepts with the lightnings, and i beleive blue oval might know how to tune them as well? I have seen on the fast spec. site that they are the only ones certified by SCT and that there dyno (mustang) is the best to use for the tune. This is comming from SCT themselfs! Krazy Koncepts site does have some kick ass lightnings that they have done. I havent delt or bought from fast but from what little iv'd talked with them there not pushy or telling me what i need witch is great! Myself i go threw summit or jegs no one local shops can beat them! And do all my work myself. peace

I've dealt with Fast Specialties a couple times now and the've been extremely helpful and great service.

Any reason you guys don't favor them as strongly as the other shops?
Well like i said i havent delt with them hardly at all! But from what i've HEARD! BUT if it were me then i'd hit them up for a tune do to the fact of the responce from SCT. It sure does make it nice now that there are more stang/speed shops out here in the area to choose from other then just 1! And there is RRev motorsports (i think) over at jatzen beach but i'm not to sure how tim is with the stangs ? But he does have a dyno and a bad a$$ 9.8 supra :hail2: peace

Have to get the truck tuned, don't want to waste the motor, no dyno's here to run it on. :D
I'll be moving down to WA in about two weeks. After I get down there, I'll either put the 4lb pulley on or the 6lb pulley, haven't decided on that one yet, and I still need to finish my mustang project, should have that one done this summer, if all goes as planned. :D

TRADER!!! AND I thought you were my friend....guess not anymore. ( j.k... alittle)

YOU DONT SAY......:rlaugh:
Its like that huh just because i dont buy from the shop/shops you do?

I'm not refering him to any certian shop or giving anyone a bad name, BUT if you like then i can give him some not so kind hearsay from some people that have delt with some of the local shops, I think you have taken it wrong but so it be! I contacted SCT and fast in the past and they both claim to dyno the SCT's on a stang dyno for best results? And thats why i buy from summit and jegs cause no one local can match them!

Dont know what thats suppose to mean????? Or what car your referring to? Butif i needed gears done or something i could'nt or didnt feel comfortable doing then i would take it to a shop it's just hard to trust anymore after finding out that when the new owner of the 95 took it to a shop they said the clutch was installed backwards! And this was by a "CERTIFIED FORD DEALER!" the even worst part is the disc was labeled on what side to put the disc IE:this side to flywheel. Thats the fun to me of moding is doing your own work. Ya gotta learn some way or another! peace

I lived in Anchorage for a long, long time. I moved down here just over six years ago. It's nice not to freeze my nuts off for months at a time. We have a very good selection of performance shops around this area.
