Shop owner wants to sell me his Novi 1000

My friend who works at a shop has a used Novi 1000 blower. It came off of his wife's 96 GT. Will it work with my 2004 GT with little or no hassle? Im guessing Im going to need a bracket at the least, but he assures me it will fit. Oh, and he is selling it for 1400 bucks. Good deal? What do I need to go along with it? I mean excluding the typical stuff like injectors, MAF, ect. ect. But will it fit on the 04 motor pretty easily? Thanks.
