Trying to get some advice shouldn't be this hard! I called JPC yesterday left a message..called back later and got blown off and this is after I got blown off via email by Justine himself... I called Brenspeed and the guy answered part of my question and started getting pissy, soooooo I then called Paxton direct who recommended me call a reputable shop such as Brenspeed and JPC. What's wrong with customer service!! That's exactly why I am not getting my work done there! I am about to drop 13k to 18k depending on pricing and advice. I suppose you aren't taken serious unless you know what you are talking about... Funny...I thought these guys wanted to get paid! Oh well..I have made a $4200 deposit elsewhere and look forward to my build now that I know exactly what I am getting. Thank you MD Performance Center for all the GREAT advice and customer service!!!!!!!!!

customer service

I'm in customer service and motor and parts sales. Rarely do I have a problem with customers that know nothing. I explain to them what I recommend and why I recommend it. Occasionally I run into customers that are just difficult to deal with. Not saying you r are but if 2 companies blew u off then you are probably came off as an ******* on the phone. It happens. Some people are *******s and do not even know it. I am sure that I have lost some sales by not giving the customer exactly what they want but sometimes it just is not worth the hassle. I find some people call and say they have no clue and when I explain things, they argue...or tell me what someone else told them...I just do not have time to waste with them.

Then I meet them in person and they are much different than they were on the phone...

Internet customer service is the most difficult...its much harder to get a clear picture of what customers are asking...

Other customers are just the type that I do not want to deal with for personal reasons so I refer them elsewhere as nicely as I can.

The worst is when I have 3 customers standing in front of me and some guy on the phone wants to discuss things for 10 or 20 minutes...I usually tell them I will call them back or recommend that they come in...

Sometimes the customer has to take himself into account. Look in the mirror.

+1. Sooooo true. Especially nowadays with the internet people read a little something and think they're experts and start telling me how to do the job!

Very true Sparta. I can stand when they say "I read this on the internet"....then they have theories as to what I should check or fix...I usually just say "we are professionals, we will diagnose the problems, call you with what we found and with an estimate of repair, at that point you can decide what work you would or would not like us to do. This is not to say that you may not have other problems. If we find additional issues we will again call you with an estimate"

I wonder what "Tones" actually wanted to know...??
289 and Sparta, You guys are right. It's too easy to Google stuff and think you know what you're talking about. It's also too easy to come off the wrong way in an email, believe me I've done it before. One thing I learned from from a co-worker, don't reply to an emial when you're mad. He said "Wait until tomorrow" LOL
BTW, I don't know this Tone guy.
