I was interested in putting some shorty headers on my 96 GT,but I live in Cali,and the only CARB legal ones are the JBA's which are over $500. My question is,if I get some non CARB legal ones like the Ford racing, will I fail a smog test? Also,how much better is the JBA quality because they cant be that much better than the FRPP because those are also 409 stainless and about $250 cheaper? I think JBA just charges so much because they know what that CARB certification is worth...I mean who wants to take off there headers every 2 years 4 a smog? If anyone has any info,hook it up cause Im dying to get my x-pipe on and this header issue is holding me up...Thanks
