Should I drill a hole in my new turn signal housings??

I just recieved new 6pc clear lights from AGECLASSIC and noticed that the turn signal housings do not have a hole in the bottom (to relieve moisture I think) like the sidemarkers do. Should I drill a small hole in the bottom? THX

If the seals on your bulb sockets are good there is no reason to, thats how moisture gets in therein the first place, or from cracks, or non-sealed seams....Don't drill....

Why do you suppose the sidemarkers have a hole in the bottom? I've had a new set years ago from Mustangs Unlimited and both the corners and signals had holes in them

Ya, mine have drain holes in them, so do stock ones.. not sure on this one. I'd leave them alone and see whether or not they get yellow/foggy.

the ones i ordered from 50resto DIDNT have holes in bottom got a lot of moisture in them. I drilled 3 small holes in the bottom. one in each corner, the other in the middle. no more moisture and they stayed crystal clear. i would if i were you!

i just got the 50resto 12 piece kit. its been in the car for about 3 weeks now. the pass side headlight has moisture in it today. should i drill the headlight houseing to stop this?

as i said in my post, i did and it got rid of the moisture

My headlights as well do not have any moisture relief on the back of the housing like stock ones do.

Drilled a hole in the bottom of the signal housings and they still fog up. Even if you leave the bulb out of the housing (which is a big hole) they still fog up. BlackFox5.0 I will try and seal the entire lens

I've been through a couple of the six piece sets, had all the common problems, and finally found the best answer. With the last set I got, I coated EVERY seal where each lense meets it's housing with clear silicone... even the "drain" holes in the bottoms. I did this with all six lights and even with the summit GT fog lights I got also. The silicone is not visible when the lights are mounted and all of the lights still look as clear and brand new as the day I got them 3 years ago. They never fogged up, turned yellow, or got a single drop of water in them... even with spraying them down with a hose when washing the car.
I highly recommend doing this with any new set of lights.

Here's a recent pic of them. They are all around 3 years old.

BADPONYsc I have sealed all of the housings up with clear silicone. I didn't need to touch the headlight housings. I do need to seal the signal housings a little better on the bottom because I still have a very small spot that air/moisture can get in that wasn't sealed by the manufacturer. What I did was submerge the housing in water and blow into the hole where the bulb mounts. I saw little air bubbles coming out.
