Engine Should I just get oem water pump or high flowing water pump

The high flow ones feature a redesigned impeller wheel. The only pumps that feature that, that i am aware of are the Edelbrock Victor Series pump Pump, and the GMB 125-1560P pump. There might be others with a revised impeller

I beleive GMB makes the pumps for Wieland as well

I have the Flowkooler pump with its fancy golden impeller.
I also got the Tefba radiator hose filter. Old blocks scale some rust continuously which might make that new radiator unhappy.
It has a screen and a magnet. Magnets doing most the work and screen catching a little silicon.
Even the newest Fox windsor's are getting to be 35 yrs old.
Higher flow and pressure means everything else must be up to snuff in the cooling system.

Ive had to clean that magnet alot.

Yuppers overpriced a bit, but is radiator insurance. I've removed a 1/4 cup worth of rust scale in first year
Thats after a good chemical flushing and a back flushing of radiator when was removed from car.

Also I had used the pressure washer to clean block water passages when swapping heads and the amount of casting sand /sludge from around the bottom of cylinders was amazing. Stained the drive way.
Had engine back together and running in 24 hours so wasn't worried about the water on cylinder walls.

Much easier to service than the Gano version.

Also got me a sacrificial zinc anode that hangs from a ring under radiator cap. Been watching it dissolve slowly over the years.
