Should I replace the timing chains/tensioners/guides with the swap?

In the final hours of my extended head/cam swap project planning and research ect. My tech says it'd be a good idea to replace the timing chains, tensioners, and guides to prevent any noise and because of general wear being a good amount over 100k miles now.
I know this is a good idea, but it'd be around $230 for all that through oem Ford online. Has anyone done this, or not done this? Results? Opinions?

I would replace them. its kinda one of those things that you should do since the engine is already torn down. it just makes sense.

tough call, I wouldnt or havent in the past(one of my pi headswap motors had 115k). Good luck man, I'm hoping you lay down a blistering 12 second past by the end of the year.

I would, just for peace of mind but I am like that. just like changing out rear end gears. since you are in there might as well replace the bearings and seals.

Ha, gunna need some rubber/wheels and likely some axles to go with my future LCA's and FLSFC's in order to do that. Even then they won't be 12's only 1/8th's around here

Yes, it would be pointless not to since it will allready be torn down.
