I went over and looked at the pull in the other thread

It peaked at 5250 and dropped from there

Something is going on that is not letting that bad boy stroker breathe on the big end

Sounding more and more like the bumpstick

You need bigger bumps

Maybe retard it a bit

Alright guys,

Just talked to Jason. He said it was a custom grind cam, and it was 224/232 and .555/.575. He said it was a lot like the B303. That may help.

That guy doesn't know crap. A B303 is, as per scummit racing, 284 int /284 exh and .480 / .480 lift with the stock rockers. Old school symmetrical grind from the mid 80s.

I don't see how a split duration custom grind with a TON less duration then 284 and a TON more lift then .480 could possibly be like a B cam.

Aside from that, have you checked the degreeing on your camshaft? It could be that your way too advanced and you need to retard it some.

Those are weak numbers, and a B cam (or similar) is farrrrr to weak for your combo. You should be hitting atleast 6,000 RPMS as well, depending on cam/intake setup.

Actually Black95GTS, its pretty damned close to this one...

That doesn't look too bad to the uneducated eye, and it provides 284/290 advertised duration. The numbers above were at .050 lift...correct me if I am wrong.
