All the others who suspect the cam
may be at the heart of the lower than expected results
I confess to using a hired gun to
kill my dreaded cam combo decisions
As for the issues such as
idle
tip in retard
and other drivability issues
They should not make a diff with a 4th gear skinny pedal down full condition such as a dyno pull
I've found you can go to a pretty stout cam
and
Tune the combo for near stock like drivability
and
Pass strict emissions testing
Another thing I've found from working with my combo
I firmly believe I could go more aggressive cam-wise
and still
Achieve the same benefits with yet more performance
You really can do some phenomenal things

if you're willing to work with the tune
I do think you should let your guys see what they can do with what you now got before you make a move to different combo parts
