Hey Duke, your car looks gnarley!
Seriously it looks just like mine except yours has kick ass wheels and tires and mine has hub caps. I have been looking at those exact wheels or the AR Torque Thrust II. What size wheels and tires are yours? Looks great!

thanks! mine are 16X8, i got them from mustangs plus a couple years ago. if you go with these wheels you'll need to bend in the little metal lip on the inside of the fenders though, otherwise you end up cutting up your tires :notnice: but at least it's an easy fix :nice:

#1, yes he does

#2, you are crazy, but entitled to your opinion. :D ;)

#3, coupe would make a better drag car because it's lighter

#4, the correct term is Styled Steel wheels. I believe Rally wheels is a term for a type of Chevy wheel. (could be wrong on that one)

#2 and #3, prolly true, i just like the 67 camaro ish body style, looks real muscleish. I always thought the rear window on the FB made it look like a fish tank haha.

#4 ur prolly right, i cant remember

Okay Who makes this wheel and what size is it.... I like it and the wife says it might really look good on my black car..... :nice:

They're custom billet wheels produced by Intro Wheels out of Anaheim. The series is called Vista. They can do any back spacing you need. The ones in my pic are 17 x 7.7’s (True 8") with 4.75 BS and have Nitto 555 225/50/17’s mounted on them.

They aint cheep (Whole set, mounted balanced and delivered to my door was $2200.00, but they sure are sweet!

Here's their website www.introwheels.com

The Twist is a nice wheel, but a little to old school street rod for me

Make sure you call them direct and you'll get a better price than what's listed on their web site. Tell Lynn you heard about them from Ken Holden up in Snohomish WA :nice:

They've done lots of stangs so they know whats up :D

I look at the money I have spent on my engine so I have to get nice set of wheels to do the car some justice.... :spot: I plan to call them and see what we can work out...

Nope, no lip rolling or spacers etc. I forget the backspacing but American Racing has all that info if you call, or maybe on their site too. I couldnt wait and I had money burning a hole in my pocket so I rushed and got the ones that were guaranteed to fit with no mods. I was 17 back then, 20 now and it would make more sense to go with 17's from any point of view. Tires arent that much more expensive and your brake options expand.

They're 205/55/16 michelin harmonys. Not a bad tire but so dinky in size. They looked huge compared to the pizza cutter stockers I had before though lol.

Like the Coddingtons!

jae902, what's the width and backspacing on your rims? I'm looking at somthing similar by another company and your car is the look I'm going after. How much and how do you have it lowered? Love the stance :hail2:

The rims are 17x8 all around with 4.75 back spacing. The rears are lowered with maier racing reverse eye leafs. I believe 2 inchs. And the front is lowered by like 2 inches too.
