My buddies 99gt has a spec stage 2 in it, and his clutch engages RIGHT at the floor pretty much. but i like it. It does have a chatter, or "vibration" i guess you could call it, that dosent feel bad, but its weird. mine dosent have it. My 95's clutch engaged at the very TOP of the clutch. So i played with the firewall knob tonight, and now my clutch is just like his, it disengages right at the floor. Should i be worried about doing this? the shop that put my clutch ( dual friction) in adjusted it to feel just like stock. did they do it for a reason? Plz give me some opinions.

As long as you have enough air gap when the clutch is released to be able to shift without problems, and the cable isn't too tight putting pressure on the clutch constantly when engaged, you will be fine. I needed more air gap in my clutch because if I tried shifting at anything higher than 5900-6000 it would not go into the next gear as it was still making contact. The adjustable cable can compensate for this somewhat, or you can put a washer behind your pivot ball and it will do the same only to a greater extent. Don't do this unless you have to though.
