Silly cam question

I have a 96 Cobra I'm getting ready to pull the engine and throw forged guts in it. My question is I'm wanting to put cams in it while it's out, but is it going to be a HUGE issue if I put supercharged cams in it? It will probably be 6 more months until I can afford my vortech. I would just like to get the whole engine done in one swing. Any help would be greatly appreciate

I don't see any major problems with running blower cams in a NA application. Yes they might not make optimal power in this configuration, but there won't be a significantly noticable loss of power either. What cams are you looking at installing?

Haven't really decided yet. I've been looking on VT's site, they seem to have the best pricing I've seen. Any opinion's between, comp, crower, or the VT's?
