Sitting here at the Airport in Ontario,California waiting for the wife and kid to get in. Thank god for the USO or else i would be extremely bored.

Not to mention two of the volunteers here are gear heads, one drives a 03 cobra and the other has a 04 z06...i believe that the vette is stock with exception of exhaust.

The cobra on the other hand :hail2: is one of the most nasty sounding car's i have heard in years.

USO's are one of those hidden benefits....Coffee, snacks, place to relax....retired vets telling war stories. I'm in the Dallas USO at least once every 2 months with all the Gov't travelling I do. Wife has even dropped in with the kids when she goes out of town (she of course, has an ID). The USO people in Maine are always great...always there when you're on you're way home from the dirt. Last trip to Afghanistan, we dropped into New Jersey, the USO crew didn't know we were coming, but they called in their help, made us all eggs and scrapple for breakfast

As for airports, I like having a few drinks in the bars, always entertaining. Makes the long rides go quicker also. Does get frustrating, being a flyer for the AF, we jump on our plane and go, knives, guns etc...airports and there rules...blah....neccessary evil though
