skinnies question?????

Hey my buddy has a set of skinnies on his 79 mustang with a 5 lug conversion, and we were like what the hell lets see if they fit my 94, Ya that was a big ass NO. Anyway i was wondering if i took my spare rim and a another 94-95 spare rim, put some good 165/15 rubber on them would i be able to use these for skinnies at the track???? If not what size skinny fits our cars?

Yes as long as you use a good tire other than the tire that came with the spare. A spacer has to be used or grind thebar from the padholder or both. I cut my bar comepletely off and had to use an 1/8" spacer using Center Line Telstars.

Just get some welds or telstars and get a wheel spacer.. You will have to grind that bar down in a small location ( i had to grind it in an area about 2 inchs wide using a 7/16th spacer)

Dont cheap out and use spare tires rims. Skinnies are cheap!
