skip and loss of power please help

If it is the platinum plugs, it would did almost right away. If you plan on keeping you MSD box, then i say you switch the platinum plugs out anyway. Good Luck

It sounds like almost immediately after. I would assume the hotter the spark the quicker they would melt. If you only drive a few miles at a time (ot full temp) it would probably take longer. if you are gentle and don't rev your engine I would assume EVEN longer. 6000 rpm ---3000 sparks a min Id be willing to bet that with a hot enought of a spark it would happer really quick.... Then again until this post I never even knew it wasn't a good idea
