I've got a 98 gt that makes 322hp & 358 ft-lbs. I'm looking at either et streets or bfg drag radials because i have to be able to drive to the track on them. Any ideas on rim tire size combo?? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the top racers on this board who are making under 350rwhp run a 26x8.5-9.0 tire on the rear and they run it on a 15x8 or 15x9 drag wheels, namely Welds prostars. The reason for the "15in." height in wheel size is because its better to have more rubber than wheel in terms of traction and less wheel weight = lighter rotating mass on the rear. As for which tire to choose, BFG is stickier than a Nitto 555R but still not quite as sticky as a ET street slick. However, it will definately last longer. When you say you're going to be driving them to the track, how far are you from the track and how often do you drive your car in terms of miles ?

I've tried nittos and i blow them away once i start making boost. I only drive about 17 miles to the track and im there 2-3 times a month.

If its just 17 miles to the track, you can probably get by on the ET streets just fine then.
