slp lm1's need help.

i had these mufflers i bought them from american muscle and i sold them to a friend.. he said he took the car to the shop to have them put on and the guy said they wont work unless he has the major inlet bushing? whats the deal with this.. i need help cause he's asking for his money back.. and thats not gonna happen..

I bought the slp catback, but i welded a set of lm 1's in my buddies. The only thing i had to mod is the lnlet and out let, convert to fit 2.5 to 2.25". Simple to do. Should just cut out and put new ones in place.

this is what i tried to tell him.. if these dont work then no other after market muffler will... i just dont get what there talking about with bushing's theres no such thing.. all he needs to do is fab up a turn down pipe where it will curve and work right?
