Would the SLP "Loud Mouth" Cat Back Exhaust be a good choice for the 04 Cobra? I'm looking to buy the best possible exaust.

not sure if slp makes a catback for the 'o3/o4 cobra yet, but once they do it'll probably sound sweet

It says its cat back. Has anyone used this exhaust?

I didn't like the loudmouths

I heard one audio clip and then an actual car in person. Very loud (old school) and some popping, IMO anyway. Lots of choices and lots of opinions. And you know opinions, they're like an a-hole, everybody has one.
Good luck.

Just get a straight through muffler setup (Borla, Magnaflow, Bassani, and SLP) and you can't go wrong.

Not really in the same class as those. The SLP is a resonator not really a muffler from what I have seen and heard.

To answer the question in the post , I think it is incredibly loud on the cobra (heard one two days ago in person). I almost sounded like a 1950's truck with glasspacks or a cherry bomb!

Lots of crackling and popping.
