SLP loud mouth

Is the loud mouth a good cat back for a 2003 GT..i want something that is loud and puts out decent numbers..is there any other cat back i should look in to???

I'm looking into the magnaflow packs. I've only heard good things about it. And its really cheap through partshopper, $330

SLP seems freakin loud, which is exactly what I want and they claim gains up to 18rwhp I've seen it for no less than about $400 and if the magnapack c/b is 330...I'd pick up the magnaflow instead. It's lower than the SLP and sounds like it has a smoother tone but still loud.

I have full SLP exhaust from headers to tail pipes. I highly recommend them. They're way better than blowmasters.

i have 03 gt..i put the mac prochamber in and slp loudmouth..it's been about 3000 miles...it gets louder..everyday...i love it more..everyday...it is wake up the dead and the living who are resting in their homes on a sunday morning...i've passed by catholic school girls and reved it j/ to hear them scream w/ windows closed...as for gains..i have two things to go by..one is once it hits high rpms it kicks u back even further in ur chair and two me and my buddies gsr raced when i was stock and i could beat him if i took off right...with the exhaust and u/d pullies i let him have two cars and pull on him like no other...that should help u w/ ur decision...private message me if u have ne other questions

I can't speak for the sound just yet, but after opening the box today SLP's quality is excellent compared to other systems I've had (Magnapacks and Flowmaster). The tips look awesome and so does the pipe and mufflers. I can't wait to get it on the car and hear it ... I hope it sounds as good as it looks. I ordered mine from Mustang Tuning on Sunday and it came today!

Go with the slp and you wont be disapointed, i dont think is terrible loud but it would be without cats. I am saving up for the x pipe and the LTs. I have had many different exhausts and this is my favorite so far, and the quality is top notch.

Yeah I got mine at www.mustangtuning.com for 359.00 shipped what a deal. I was going to get it at www.lmperformance but it was during the huricane and they were closed. I just checked and they are alot more expensive now. They are 450 at both site check them out.

Here in my sig i have an SLP Soundclip. The guy has Full SLP exhaust and Stage 2 cams I love that sound sooooo much... but honestly i think i wouldn't be able to deal with it when im trying to pick a girl up from her house, or just wake up in the morning and go for a drive down the street. Scaring the catholic school girls sounds fun and all but i dont know if i can take it ALLL the time.

DEFLESHED, your car is a daily driver, what do you think of it? Does it get annoying when u just want to cruise or visit friends, and the F*ing car is SCREAMING all over the place?

Wrong! I don't know where you got that from. With a stock mid pipe its a great sound not much louder than stock. I think some bad sound clips are circulating around here cause I thought it would be so loud and its not. I thought I would have to keep the stock h but its just not loud enough.
